Our philosophy

"Hands-on education, mentoring, and real-world training — not just an online course."

The gold standard in lactation care

The International Board Certified Lactation Consultant is an allied health professional with the skills, knowledge, and competencies to provide expert breastfeeding support to families. IBCLCs work within a professional code of ethics, clinical competencies, and internationally recognised standards of practice.

95 hours of lactation-specific education plus 5 hours of communication education
14 health science subjects
Required practical hours for your chosen pathway (Pathway 1 or Pathway 3 in Australia)

The current pathway is long, demanding, and not accessible to everyone. We think that needs to change.

A different kind of training

We offer an alternative to the self-directed, online-only model — hands-on education, mentoring, and training for anyone who wants to make a real difference for families.

Hands-on education

Real clinical experience alongside expert mentorship — not just screen time.

Accessible to more people

We want to open the door to those who have found the traditional pathway out of reach.

Mentoring and support

Guidance from Felicity throughout your journey — you won't be navigating this alone.

A new model of care

Moving away from confusing, conflicting advice toward clear, evidence-based practice that actually supports families.

Sounds like you?

Let's have a conversation

It's a lot of information to take in. Book a call with Felicity and she'll walk you through the program and available options — no pressure, just a conversation.
